11/25 - Platform Update – Week 46 '25
This release addresses issues in the PayPal onboarding flow and includes several quality-of-life improvements for our TWINT integration. It also introduces support for chargebacks initiated via Stripe.
Highlights in this release:
All improvements listed below are automatically available to all users.
Request PayPal capabilities based on eligibility
RaiseNow now considers the organisation’s country when initiating the PayPal connection and requests the PPCP capability only if the provided country is on PayPal’s list of eligible countries.
Merchants registered in countries not on this list will still be able to onboard but will only be able to use the standard PayPal checkout option in their donation forms, as opposed to white-label payment methods such as credit cards.
Process chargebacks reported by Stripe
RaiseNow now automatically reflects chargebacks reported by Stripe within the RaiseNow platform.

Prevent invalid TWINT payment status transitions
A fallback mechanism designed to ensure RaiseNow always correctly reports successful TWINT payments previously caused already completed payments to transition from succeeded → pending → succeeded.
This behaviour has now been corrected.
