Highlights in this release:
This release addresses a critical issue concerning backend versions v1.20.4 & v1.20.5. Customers on the affected versions have all been updated by our team.
This update ensures that all features and fixes originally planned for v1.20.3 through v1.20.5 are now properly available.
In this document, we will only highlight the features introduced specifically in v1.20.5 and v1.20.6. These changes affect the RaiseNow integration within Salesforce NPSP, particularly in backend processes.
For details on other features from previous releases or subsequent fixes, please refer to the relevant release notes:
RaiseNow Manager to RaiseNow Hub subscription migration support
This release introduces support for the payment gateway aggregator Spreedly and introduces improvements to faciliate adding new payment gateways in the future.
In addition, it supports the migration from RaiseNow Manager to RaiseNow Hub subscriptions by updating all necessary identifiers in Salesforce NPSP. This process runs automatically, ensuring that future charges processed by RaiseNow Hub are accurately linked to the correct recurring donation record, while still permitting manual charging when needed.
These enhancements apply within the RaiseNow integration for Salesforce NPSP, specifically targeting the payment processing module managed by RaiseNow Hub. This update ensures seamless subscription migration and accurate recurring donation management in your NPSP environment.

Bugs fixes and other improvements
Improvements to email notifications
This update adds a filter option for the emails sent for problems with your Salesforce integration, to exclude non-production failures from notifications. This improvement ensures that only genuine production issues trigger alerts, delivering relevant and actionable information to both customers and RaiseNow support.
Custom field import fix for RaiseNow Manager
This bug fix ensures that custom fields for RaiseNow Manager are now correctly imported from CSV files. Previously, these custom fields were overlooked during processing by the Salesforce/RaiseNow bulk importer.
The fix is implemented within the bulk importer used in the RaiseNow integration for Salesforce NPSP. This update guarantees that all custom field data is properly processed, enhancing data integrity and alignment with customer configurations. For more details, please see the related support article: Bulk Import for Direct Debit and Payment Slip Recurring Donations.
Prevent changes from Salesforce connected to the non-production instance
Previously, changes made in a Salesforce sandbox could unintentionally modify production data in connected systems, particularly when using partial sandboxes containing copied production data. This release introduces safeguards to prevent such unintended modifications, ensuring sandbox changes remain isolated.
Example: Previously, closing a Recurring Donation in a Salesforce partial sandbox connected to a production RaiseNow account could unintentionally trigger a cancellation of an active production RaiseNow subscription.
This improvement applies to Salesforce sandbox environments integrated with RaiseNow. If you need to process production data in a sandbox for specific use cases, such as migration testing, please contact our support team for guidance and enablement.
Safeguard for concurrent updates
This update introduces a safeguard to prevent conflicts when multiple processes attempt to update the same data simultaneously. By improving how these updates are handled, we reduce the risk of failed operations and ensure more reliable processing.
This enhancement is implemented in the backend of the RaiseNow integration for Salesforce NPSP, strengthening system stability and data consistency.
Fix for direct debit message file download failure (v1.20.6)
This bug fix resolves an issue that caused direct debit message file downloads to fail. The problem arose after an upgrade to an external library, which introduced compatibility issues. We have addressed this by aligning our system with the updated library version, restoring proper functionality.
The fix is applied within the RaiseNow integration for Salesforce NPSP, specifically in the direct debit processing module, ensuring seamless file downloads.
